The Latin name of Marigold is Calendula officinalis and its common names are also Pot Mariguld and Gold-bloom. Marigold is native to Egypt and Mediterranean and a common garden plant throughout the world.

APPLICATION
Marigold extract exhibits anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, stimulating production of white cells and strengthening the immune system. It is used internally for healing intestinal wounds and lip herpes. Marigold extract is also used externally for skin rash and milky scurf of children and for treatment of minor wounds and inflamed eruptions.
