NutraLab Canada is delighted to report that it has successfully passed the facilities and processes audit from an independent third-party auditor. Furthermore, it has obtained an exceptionally high score of 91.2%, placing us in the Preferred Supplier rank.
The audit was conducted by the SAI Global Company from Toronto, Ontario. The SAI Global Company is an independent auditing group with 26 years of experience. The auditors followed the system standard and tested thoroughly for all aspects including Sanitation & Housekeeping, Facility & Grounds Operations, Pest Management, Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality System Programs, Food Safety Program/HACCP, Metal Detection/Foreign Material/Micro, Product Recovery Program/ Recall, Food Defense, etc.
The SAI Global Company ranks facilities as follows: Needs Work (< 70%), Needs Improvement (70-79.9%), Approved Supplier (80-89.9%), and Preferred Supplier (90-100%). At a high score of 91.2%, NutraLab has been ranked as a Preferred Supplier. The audit was undertaken voluntarily on NutraLab’s behalf to ensure all procedures, processes, and equipment are up-to-date. This independent audit is separate from the annual mandatory GMP audit. NutraLab has successfully passed the GMP audit requirements for 5 years in a row, without noncompliance. Moreover, our quality system has allowed us to continually reduce our cost base and improve our ability to be both dynamic and flexible simultaneously. This has allowed us to participate in new markets and obtain significant growth with current strategic markets.
Furthermore, we would also like you to take note that NutraLab Canada has had its continued growth recognized and has placed 27th in the 12th annual PROFIT HOT 50 ranking of PROFIT magazine in 2011.
